The Death of eSports-United?

Yesterday it was announced that eSports-United had broken the contract with their long standing CS squad, [9].esu. Vesslan and the boys will now be known as Team9 as they continue to work with the Nine Cafe in Stockholm, Sweden.

The lineup stays the same as before:

Vesslan, Luciano, Lucchese, quick and Xeqtr

Further to this it also seems that esu have "removed" all their other squads except CS Female. There is an announcement due this afternoon regarding the situation. Rumours say that esu is looking to focus on news and event coverage rather than supporting teams to attend events.

So, we have a new Team9 without the backing of "former" powerhouse eSports-United. Time will tell whether they will indeed be able to attend Euskal and CPL Summer based solely on their support from Nine Cafe. I also wonder how this has affected the players mentally knowing that their chances of success have dropped dramatically unless they can find some other sources of support.
