UK.Ladies 23 - 25 Sweden Ladies

Earlier tonight the UK ladies faced their toughest game in the '2nd Female Nations Cup'. Even though qualification to the playoff stage was out of reach the girls put up a 5 star performance against least seasons winners. Here is a breakdown of the match:

UK.Ladies: 7K, Angel, *stardust*, cathy, Katerina
Sweden.Ladies: Tess, Sha, Queen*, bad_kitty, Sophie
de_aztec: Sweden 11 - 13 UK
de_dust2: Sweden 14 - 10 UK
Final Score: Sweden 25 - 23 UK

The result leaves the ladies with a final position of 4th in their group, finishing infront of last years 3rd place team Norway.

01:52 3/6/2003		 ilu dave, but i have to disagree. girl clans get far more recognition than their skill level deserves. thsi equates in to sponsors and such. its unfair as there are no natural boundaries between men and women regarding computer games. sex sells, especially in an arena lacking a large female prescence such as gaming. at the end of the day its unfair to the blokes who train hard that "SummerGrlJess69" or whatever their names are gets to play in a nations cup etc and sponsored just because theyre female. its sexual discrimination against men, and if it was the other way around you can bet some feminist would be burning their bra outside the cpl. I hardly see this #1 UKCS site filled with comments about such and such a girl player being ownage. Mainly it's full of homosexual comments licking each others elite arses.

What you're really stating amarc is that your bitter than some female gamers get more recognition than yourself just because of their sex. 'SEX SELLS' you stated, but to who? That's correct to the male section of the community. So I think I see your problem, when we get down to it your jealous of the attention these female gamers get from the rest of the lads and you're missing out.
