Bring back the old days with Beta 5.2

Do you long for "the good old days"? Those carefree days of Beta 5.2, with a Colt that zoomed, the old netcode and fast player speeds? Well now you can travel back in time, and enjoy, thanks to the guys/gals at OldSkool CS.

The site gives instructions on how to install and run Beta 5.2 along side 1.1, as well as a few servers to play it on, you can see a full list here.

I started playing CS around the time of Beta 5.2, and it certainly got me hooked. If you missed out and want to see what the good ol' days were all about, make sure you take a look.
