	Iccy 21:13 6/4/2003	Guess Ill do my bit to explain, as lame as it seems Id like to make a point somewhere. ONE werent allowed their choice of server, this was because of a rule which states that I as manager could not speak for them when picking a server, the team were in a PCW at the time practicing for the game so I said that I would choose a suitable server and test them on the teams behalf. I was told that a member of the team "Who would be playing" was required to do this and that the server was already decided, both maps would be played on DkS's Spanish Server. The rule in question was this one taken from the clanbase website:- "If one clan has not a single player (someone who will actually play in the match) present before the deadline time, then the other clan may immediately decide on the server. It is free to change its server decision later on when the other clan shows up." Thus stating that DkS had the option of playing a map on their server, and one map on ONE's UK server. Those of you who watched the match will have seen that ONE were basically outpinged to such an extent that had one map been played on ONE's UK server the outcome could have been different. After the amount of games in the eurocup ONE had already played, its a well known and strict rule that if you're late for server discussions you suffer a disadvantage. 	Iccy 22:05 6/4/2003	I didnt get the guys out of the server becsause by the time they had cleared up I couldnt speak for the team the deadline for the picking of servers had passed anyway (30 mins before the game) so wouldnt have made a difference if they had been there or not. Rather than pull them out of a PCW for practicing for the game I thought it would be better to let them play on and finish practice and tactics. I understand the rules now, DkS played their advantage as they had every right to, my main gripe being that a member of a team has no voice for the team if they are not playing in the match. But dont DkS playing from a netcafe which gives them good ping to UK servers, well thats what they said b4 xgc started anyway. Shame when nothing is at stake that teams have to be so dumb and only care about putting "[win] vs ONE" on a website or irc topic. ONE were f***ed over, simple as that, but it always happens when CB try and get more and more spectators by adding in clans who are poor from different countries, instead of having the best teams. They only care for amount of spectators watching, not level of competition. ul ONE, hope DkS are going to clikarena, will be interesting for them to playing on an even field. 	Iccy 22:05 6/4/2003	I didnt get the guys out of the server becsause by the time they had cleared up I couldnt speak for the team the deadline for the picking of servers had passed anyway (30 mins before the game) so wouldnt have made a difference if they had been there or not. Rather than pull them out of a PCW for practicing for the game I thought it would be better to let them play on and finish practice and tactics. I understand the rules now, DkS played their advantage as they had every right to, my main gripe being that a member of a team has no voice for the team if they are not playing in the match. But dont DkS playing from a netcafe which gives them good ping to UK servers, well thats what they said b4 xgc started anyway. Shame when nothing is at stake that teams have to be so dumb and only care about putting "[win] vs ONE" on a website or irc topic. ONE were f***ed over, simple as that, but it always happens when CB try and get more and more spectators by adding in clans who are poor from different countries, instead of having the best teams.
