CPL Cannes

Today ladies and gentlemen CPL Cannes will be starting, yes that’s right its actually going to happen this time. The schedule has been released and looks something like this:

13:00 CET (7am EST) Entrance opens
13:30 CET Registration end for WC3 Players
13:40 CET Registration end for CS Teams
14:00 CET Official WC3 Tournament starts
14:00 CET Official CS Tournament starts
00:00 CET (2pm EST) Official Tournament concludes for the night

With this website being a Counter-Strike based news site it is obvious that Counter-Strike will be our main focus. Hopefully as I am not fully fit yet and still recovering someone will keep you lot updated with the goings on. For those of you who haven’t seen them already the seeds have been announced and gotFrag has done a little preview which contains information on all the top teams attending. For HLTV ip’s and all the latest gossip check out #cpl on Quakenet.

N.B. My operation went well, thanks to everyone for there well wishes on irc and the website my friend made. Without going into too much detail it was some cartlidge which was growing into my right lung. I am at home now and recovering slowly but surely. Be back soon.
