- Brian "destrukt" Flander has written an article over at gotFrag which addresses the issue of ‘clan hopping’. As we see week in week out in the European CS scene players change clans nearly as much as they do their socks. The article addressed ‘Confessions of a Clan Hopper’ is pretty interesting. Here is a snippet:
In all seriousness, why is the community so random at times? And why are people, who are uneducated with someone’s situation, so obliged to comment? … So next time, before you hit the comments link and get ready to flame the hell out of someone maybe you should sit back and think about yourself for a second. What entitles you to say what you are about to say, how much are you actually positive you’re saying has some relative truth to it, and really – is it even worth saying? I know for god damn sure from now on I will. From this day forth I will regret every flame I’ve ever posted, even if I was right.
Read the article by clicking here. - Midway and the gang have been busy once more writing up another brilliant feature for gotFrag. This concentrates on the CAL-I and looks at what has happened so far also predicts what is in store in the future, it also predicts a winner. It is a very well constructed feature with screenshots and nice content also. what are you waiting for? Check it out.
- Erik Johnson made an announcement on the official steam support forums about steam itself and some changes which have been made. If you managed to download steam then the changes will implement themselves when you next open it. Unfortunately VALVE blocked admissions to the beta test so no link to the client can be given. Visit the forum post for more details. Note that you can also check out some screenshots of the buy menus over on CSCentral.
