Over at ActionTrip they've written an article titled "CS From a Soldier's Perspective" It regards talk about Counter-Strike's addictiveness factor. It also feautures some strategy talk, but that doesn't go very deep.

So, what is it about CS that is so addictive? Is it those great maps? Or the realistic weapons (the developers really know their guns)? Or maybe it's those great skins that I liked so much? Well, the bottom line is -- the one specific thing that makes this mod so attractive escapes me, but it sure is fun to play. I can already hear fans of another great game mumbling and cursing, but as the title of this article indicated, you have only yourself to blame for reading this far.

In the article there is lots of weapon talk, too much even if you'd ask me, but despite that I think it's worth reading. Catch it here.
