Clanbase Roundup

I thought it appropriate to update you with the goings on over at Clanbase. The EuroCup LAN finals have taken most of the headlines recently but the rest of the competitions that Clanbase offer have been hotting up. The third nations cup is now into the playoff stages with the following matches taking place this week:

Germany vs. Slovakia
Finland vs. Sweden
Norway vs. Iceland
Austria vs. Netherlands

If I were a betting man I would stick £5 on Austria as an outsider. After beating Sweden in their last group game their confidence must be on a high. Unfortunately the UK failed to win any of their games losing to Spain, The Netherlands and Finland. Unlucky guys better luck next time.

The Female Nations Cup is now in the Semi-Final stage with the matches looking like this:

France vs. Spain
Sweden vs. Norway

The UK ladies picked up 1 victory in the group stages but lost the other two games missing out on a playoff spot.

As we all know ONE have progressed to the final of the Clanbase Open Cup Division 1. After topping their group and overcoming 2LmSo and KoA in the playoffs ONE have a 100% record going into the final. Their opponents Magic defeated hlo in the other semi-final to set up an exciting encounter between the two. No date has been set for the game yet but keep your eyes peeled, as it should be a good one.

Finally Division 2 of the Open Cup is also into its last couple of matches. Here are the semi final results and the fixtures for the rest of the tournament:
