VGA CS League - Week 7 Results

2 days late, but nonetheless results are in for week 7 of the VGA CS Leagues.
Going into these games uk.bham led the league by 3 points over cybercuts 1 from Leicester, however this week the league leaders were to face none other than home rivals Zero Tolerance, also from GlobalGaming in Birmingham.

Cybercuts 1, last year's champions, were to square off against Leed's Lancity lineup with both teams seeking a victory to jostle for a better final position.

Pro-Gamer received a default 24 - 0 victory over the Virtual Realm All*s following their withdrawal from the league.

As much as some would like to see close intense games, this week it was not to be. #uk.bham defeated their home rivals 18 - 6 on de_cbble, while CC1 crushed the Lancity^ind team 22 - 2 on de_dust.

With just a few games running up can CC1 make up the 3 points to knock #uk.bham off their perch, or will we be seeing new VGA CS League champions this year

	Dr_Evil`` 00:49 8/1/2003	Polaris - 'fragz should be up in that division, oh but wait, lil and mud got kicked out of the team for not paying for an all nighter a local lan cafe owner told me D' Fragz had a good team last season (despite me being in it). Non of that team currently play for Fragz due to other comittments and the new team isnt of the same standard (hell we had the UKs best player imo (lil)) so their Div2 status is fair enuff. The team changed because the owner wanted regulars to play rather than us cos we only used to go for the VGA games, which is fair enuff. The VGA league is a very good one. The problem is that most cafes have only 512k of bandwidth shared between 10 - 20 PCs. When someone checked emais or updated a server list on ASE we used to lag, but all the cafes do. Until they all have massive bandwidth people will be better off on cable really. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
