CAL - Update

As most of you know the CPL has been running now since June the 26th (my birthday) 1997. As quoted from the site itself the CPL ‘was the first organization in the world to promote computer game competitions as a spectator sport’. In doing this they are the worlds leading entity in competitive gaming. Frank Nuccio the main man at the CPL is responsible for running a competition called the CAL-I. The Cyberathlete Amateur League plays host to a number of games but the CAL-I in particular is famous for attracting the top cs teams within the US CS scene such as 3D, TAU and Rival to its door and this season is no different. I have decided to keep the flowing masses of people who read UKTerrorist updated with the goings on within the CAL-I season 7. So here goes.

The first set of matches kicked off last night with few surprises apart from last seasons winners Rival losing in over time to Ascension. Here are the results:

Just the 2 results missing and those are the results from the excess vs. pinnacle and utopian vs. issues with authority matches. As I said, I will keep you updated with the goings on in this competition so stay tuned.
