A couple of news tidbits that some of you out there might enjoy:CS-Nation: What's this new map about, the basics?Sounds good!narby: I'm not one for complex story lines behind maps, the average CS player really doesn't give a crap as long as it's fun. Simply put, the map is set deep in a jungle on the perimeter of an airstrip that's being used to supply special forces into the area to wipe out the drugs trade. If you've ever seen the movie ``clear and present danger'' it's a little along those lines, only without the laser guided bombs.
Gotfrag: Do you get negative input from friends and/or family about playing Counter-Strike?All in all, it's worth reading. It might help to put your life into prespective...jako: no not at all, they think it's pretty cool. I even told my girl after I only knew her for a month or so, which wasn't easy. she gives me some s**t but it's all in good humor.
3) Do you think VALVe Anti-Cheat is working well, or could be better? Why?It's rather short (six questions) but it's worth a read if you care about what other people think.
I think it's a step in the right direction, and Valve is good with those steps. I like the blacklisting of WON ID's, and I feel the pentaly should be strict for people who hack/pirate. If you mess with the game, and comprimise other player's fun, you should lose the right to play with them.
