Another CPL Update

The results just keep coming in for this event. As the event gets down to some crunch games now there has been some really good action. I fully recommend you nipping onto some of the HLTV’s and watching a game or two. Anyway back to the results now and here are the results from the upper bracket quarter-finals. All games were played on Aztec:

zEx [#11] 13 – 7 [#3] eSports United
GoL [#2] 13 – 8 [#10] Weekend Warriors

zEx continue to impress adding esu to their string of teams defeated it seems like they are the surprise clan of the tournament so far. In the lower bracket round 3 has also been played in what continues to be a smoothly running tournament. Here are the results (all games were played on nuke):

The surprise package in the lower bracket tec continues to win adding TAU the well-known American team to their list of casualties. Overall it all seems good, the next round in both brackets is where we will start to see potential champions rise as those in the lower bracket will need to pull out all the stops to avoid being eliminated. In my personal opinion the tie of the next round has to be DoP vs. Eolithic, closely followed by team9 vs. mTw.alternate and esu vs. Riot-Squad.
