As the topic suggests here are a few pieces of small news compacted into one nice news item for you.

Unfortunately kiddies, Saint Nick wont be bringing 1.6 for Christmas! The word from Erik Johnson is that it won't be released until January 7^th on STEAM. Read the full interview, done by Home Lan, here. The interview is mainly focused on cs:cz but does touch on CS 1.6 and future releases.
Has counter-strike been successful? Half-life.org has tried to answer that question with a nice little article which talks about the rough ride counter-strike has had since it's birth and the roles in which different individuals fit into in the cs world. Read the full article by clicking here.
