Fragbite has done an in depth article looking at what some of the best CS players in the world think of the soon to be released CS 1.6. Players interviewed include Medion and potti from SK, Naikon from eoLithic and mysse from GoL. tRiGGa(DoP): Hopefully better, implementing new weapons and items always spices up gameplay a little bit and gives everyone some extra fun ;]

and you can't exactly bunnyhop even when it is off/removed, the speed is so minimal it isn't worth your time. that's why i could never figure out why it was implemented.
Regarding the new guns and stuff, well, it's a shame they're not releasing any videos of them in action (at least to my knowledge) but i expect they'll be disregarded as they always are.
I don't think you're going to see HeatoN using the shield and five seven over m4, because it takes a primary slot and is rumored to cost 2500+. Not to mention "This item will block small arms fire (pistols, shotguns, sub-machine guns) and slow down high-caliber rounds to a point where they're not as deadly".
The new map updates look fairly good and i usually enjoy map updates, the new maps do look good, but of course new maps always look good and we'll just have to wait and see how they play. Otherwise they'll be disregarded pretty much like the 1.5 ones were. (survivorr and havana.. lol)
All in all, it's gonna be a good update. It will prevent configging, lock down aimbots/wallhacks, get a decent graphics addition and it will feature new models. The weapons and new maps are just a side bonus to me. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

That article is teh good though, agree with just about everything they said. I personally doubt the jumping will be changed (although I really, really, really hope it is), because that would be an admission by Valve that they were wrong.
On past form (such as never editing the 'decoration' weapons to make them usable), I don't think it's going to happen. Makes me wonder who they have deciding what's going to change in the mod at Valve, obviously people with a warped perspective on the gameplay, anyway.

It does show off a lot of the new maps, the 2 new guns and something I haven't seen commented on a lot - an 'accuracy counter'. Its very strange, worth a look.
