SA, one of the few real "old school" clans around have folded. Having been around for three and a half years, they were considered one of the best clans in the UK at one point. During that spell they shared a 3rd place finish in the Clanbase Opencup with DkH, whilst Ocrana took the top prize. I spoke to a few of the SA members shortly after their announcement:Ripper: So, how come you guys folded then?UKTerrorist wishes all the ex SA players good luck in whatever they do next.Ferrers: Well SA had been suffering over the last 6months The team had slowly been in decline since key members had gone inactive.
Ferrers: The last major event being the wcg quals.
Ferrers: After that point I felt with my position in the team wasnt what i wanted anymore and decided to form Enrapture and get together some of the old faces of SA.
Ferrers: Recently the team had again suffered with people going inactive , poor results had followed and from what I can make out the lads have just lost interest in playing together anymore.Junks: SA was never the best UK clan as some ppl think, but we were certainly one of the top 5 at their best. Unfortunately the last year with a mediocre team and none of the original players active, SA declined into a shadow of its former self....
Scrappy: I'm very sad to see the clan die, but I realise that all good things must come to an end. It will never seem the same playing with a different tag. SA has been a big part of my life over the past few years, seen some good times, bad ones, but mostly fucking excellent times. Good luck to all the SA lads past and present, they've always put a lot of time and effort into the clan which has shown in the amount of time we've been going.

I'll never forget our win against CSA (on militia) UKLA, CSC7 and other great clans. Or our match against NiP, in which we got soundly beaten.

Cheers, I'm sure u were once a top UK player and u coming back from inactivity would have surely made SA a top 5 UK clan again. We were mediocre: not that u ever even SEEN me play?
