With the The CPL® Pentium® 4 Processor Winter 2002 event not far away now, Lan-Z caught up with the president of the CPL Mr Angel Munoz. As would be expected the interview is focussed directly on the Winter event which is to be held in Dallas in December. Here is a little taster:

Lan-Z: Next month a new CPL event will be held in Dallas. After the past success, what are your expectations for the next Winter CPL event?

Angel Muñoz: The CPL® Pentium® 4 Processor Winter 2002 Event is the first event in two years in which we are holding both a team tournament and a one-on-one tournament; and with $140,000 in cash prizes it is the second largest cash prize we have ever offered. The Winter Event will also have a number of fantastic sponsor displays, including the new 3.06 GHz Pentium® 4 Processor at the Intel booth, the new NVIDIA® GeForce FX, new on board audio solutions from Analog Devices, new gamer connectivity services from NetFire.com, a possible unveiling of Counter-Strike Condition Zero, of Halo for the PC, other cool stuff from CompUSA, Telex Communications, PNY Technologies, and Plantronics.
