Intel Masters Website Live

After waiting for ages we have now been given a host of information about the upcoming Intel Masters in December. Firstly, here's some basic info:
On 21st December 2002 the first round of the Intel Masters Gaming Championships will take place at the Science Museum in London

This will be the biggest pro-gaming even of its kind ever in the UK. That's right: pro-gaming. This is about winning money by playing videogames, and there's a massive £25,000 up for grabs.

All this will be hosted in the splendour of the Science Museum's super-high-tech installation, the Wellcome Wing, home to the computing exhibition, Digitopolis. This is the part of the Science Museum that boasts the astounding IMAX® cinema and all the excitement of the big games will be projected on the massive main screen. The action will be dissected by our experts and presented by Chris Barrie.

Secondly, the clans are as follows:
  • Uninspired
  • ONE
  • OMG!
  • Infinity-eSports
  • iLLuminati
  • North & South
  • erm:cs
  • does not Compute
No changes there from the original list of clans. Each of the participants will recieve an Everglide pad to ensure clans can play evenly. A description of the computers that will be used can be found here.

UI - Everyone knows they've got players that can compete with the best.

NS - Performed well on LAN, always managing to qualify for the big events.

iLLu - unproven on LAN, lost half their players, new team hasn't done anything noticable yet.

i was sat behind Puneet all game, and he could spray mp5 in someones back point blank, and it just wouldnt hit them.

Toomy was there only consistent fragger, and that was down to spraying.
