CounterStrike Nations Cup III - Ready for Kickoff

RayeS & chR1z send us word that the Nations Cup is ready to rock 'n' roll. Here is a direct quote from the guys themselves:

The kickoff for the 3rd season of this Counter-Strike Nations Cup will be at Monday the 25th! The maplist is predefined and can be find below. In total there are three weeks of group matches and after that the top 2 Nations in every group will proceed to the Playoffs.
Map & Week overview:
1st week: de_nuke & de_prodigy
2nd week: de_dust2 & de_train
3th week: de_aztec & de_cbble
Clanbase wishes all nations good luck and a lot of fun!

The groups have also been drawn with them looking something like this:

Austria
Estonia
Russia
Sweden
Group B
Spain
Finland
Netherlands
United Kingdom
Group C
Belgium
Germany
Iceland
Switzerland
Group D
Denmark
Norway
Poland
Slovak Republic

United Kingdom have been done no favours by being drawn, in my opinion, in the toughest group! Good luck fellas, you'll need it.

Also tonight, the female Nations Cup groups have been drawn. The UK are in a group with Sweden, Poland & Spain. Equally as tough as the group the males are in. Good luck ladies I'm sure you will do us proud. For information on the female Nations Cup see here. N.B the map list in the group stages is the same.

There's no really easy group anyway...C is possibly the 'easiest', but if UK were in A or D, I think the job would be equally tough. In A, Russia/Sweden....In D, Denmark/Norway. 	DK Stalk Confront Engage Eliminate 00:24 15/11/2002	UK females pcw'd Spain females, dust2 was a night mare, got run ragged. Interp'd to buggery on their none wwcl server. Then they played them on Aztec on the ladies wwcl server and the game was much closer 13-11 or 14-10 to Spain. I think wwcl should be forec in all these matches. 	L1am 16:19 15/11/2002	From Russia m19 are obviously good, im not sure about other Russian teams though, I watched the demo of the WCG qualifier finals they seemed to be a bit infront of the next team... Also m19's excellent team play made them the best team at wcg, however im doubting they will be able to achieve that within a mixed team... Personally I would rate the uk group to be the hardest, Finland having knocked out Norway in the last cbn, and Holland will surely put up a very strong effort. So gl team UK.
