Another update from Valve, here is what Erik Smith had to say:

We've updated the public security modules again. These security modules detect a bunch of the new client hooks that have been circulating.
Your Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat servers should update themselves automatically. Let me know if you have any problems with these security modules and we'll look into them right away.

	wL\|P!@Z^ 22:32 14/11/2002	Well aparently some people have figured out how to hax wwcl and i have seen people with some nice interp on wwcl. 1.6 should "hopefully" sort it though. One thing i dont like is playing on wwcl servers not run by myself as it is so easy to remove commands from wwcl etc to make it look like u aint config. f***ing annoys me tbh. 	TJ 23:47 14/11/2002	The people playing on urs could think the same thing. And wwcl is quite a weak solution, many things that f*** the game up go straight past it. What needs to be made is something that locks down what can be done with the config; lock cvars, only allow suitable binds and aliases like ones from the cpl gui and no console cept for admin (similar thing to what UT got). The idea is obviously only suitable for leagues and tournaments. It is possible, but i dont have the programming knowledge yet to make such a plugin, so it needs suggested to someone already experienced like olo or djey, but then again, im lazy...
