The long awaited NationsCup III is not far away with the qualifiers for the remaining 6 places having taken place. 6 decent games were played tonight and here are the results:Well played to all those who qualified. Check out ClanBase for the information.

'cfg'.... 2 players from pol-team (LUq, SplaSh) took their place @ WCG 2002 so ask other participants, about their class. 21:33 11/11/2002		 WCG dont show anything, my country ( spain ) last year sent CTF , and CTF ended 5th , imho they wasnt the besst 5th there.
And this year BBiGG ended 19th or so winning vs indonesia and nEph (CZE) and lost to Portugal and Singapur lol

Imho that does not show the potential of the CS scene of a country. Dont understimate polish players, they dont have nice conns. but they can be skilled as any french or any UK player at least [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

On a national level the skill is much tighter and much more comparable - Kazakhstan finished 8th at WCG for example, so why should Poland *not* be able to beat France, online or LAN regardless? Just because they're from Central/East Europe?

Anyone can beat anyone on the day. From the looks of it Poland played bloody well and won in a close-run game. Perhaps also one of the factors was the Polish team gelling well, and maybe France didn't and had player conflicts?
