• Counter-Strike @ Halflife.net have announced that they've been presented with numerous opportunities to continue, as they are. Very good and welcome news, after they had originally planned to be closing down tomorrow. Here's the lowdown:

  We are still persuing those opportunities, and are pleased to announce that we plan to continue with halflife.net as long as we can pay the bills here. We will certainly keep you all posted.

  Thanks to all of you who have expressed sadness over our announcement a few weeks back. It served as motivation to find a way to keep things going. Thanks to a good number of you who offered to contribute to our cause in terms of bandwidth, hosting, and yes, even sending money.

• After a server failure, a few days ago, they've also managed to update their models section with any that were lost due to lack of backup (tsk tsk).
