	Nick^ 18:41 5/10/2002	TT was playing and needed to change his name/zoom sens, so rather than quit out to do it, he brought down console (which was enabled on his machine) and changed his name and zoom sens, with loads of people watching. 	iron 18:51 5/10/2002	i dont really know where to start this moan, cuz theres so much of it to be done. First of all the tournament area in earls court exhibition centre or whatever must be the loudest place in london atm. You couldnt even hear people you were speaking to right next to you, let alone whats happening thru ur headphones. When we got there we found at that 32 clans had apparantly signed up, so they had to shorten the rounds to MR8, which was pretty pathetic to say the least, awps were pretty much non-existant in this tourny, cuz you could only eco once before you fell too far behind on rounds. Organisation wise it seemed ok, games started pretty much on time. Then we get to the PCs, first of, windows xp..needs no explanation, i use sens 1.3 at home, i was using 3.5 there, and it was still slower :/, then you have the fact that you cant turn mouse acceleration off on some pcs..but u can on others, FPS was an amazing 60-99 depending on what PC u were on. None of the PCS had andy kind of mouse drivers on whatsoever, so that kinda got everybody into a sticky situation, i had to borrow some1 elses drivers in the end, so then theres the admins, they seemed pretty cool at first, but then suddenly ud heard ' OK 2 RESTARTS AND GO' while everybody was still setting up, in the first game my mouse movements wouldnt measure alot of the time, and i changed my name to 'Mag8 - mousefucled' and played like that, and then suddenly, on the 8th round, the admin rcon messages 'f*edmouse please change your name' so i open the console, and then suddenly the admin starts having ago at saying that i shouldnt access console, and he gives us a console warning...ive probably missed like, a tonne of s* out, when im less tired ill remember it all, the only decent part of the day for me was meeting quite a few ppl there, and finding ppl who talk alot of s*** ( AMeN ). well played to ui and erm, im sure ull do good tomorrow. Also the fact that a couple of clans who are playing on sunday who have no right to be playing at all on that day. Teams went out today including mine (bullet.VR) who should be there tomorow to play with the better clans. So they then said it'd be between the 2 beaten semi finalists 6K and Disturbed, disturbed then dropped out, so 6K got the place. It wasnt and couple of the guys changed at 6 rounds :(. s*** happens. Its just annoying how crap the event was and how many crap clans are playing on sunday and the good clans that went home today that shouldnt have. and yes 6k WILL NOT win a game tomorow, as there configing wont help them at this LAN. I wasn't told anything about that and having to fork out travel fair from leeds etc to get asked for more money when I didn't even give a flying f* about the damn exhibition. Next time hold it at a lan centre coz it was s*e today for all the above reasons. When we played twisted reality (inept) they said right you got 5 mins to sort stuff out then its on. I sit down and there's no keyboard so I go admin I need a keyboard, he disappears comes back bout 4 mins later with one that has a broken port so I say can I have another, then sujoy finally appears with a keyboard and says to the rest of my team ok you ready we're starting, am like err I just got a keyboard I still need to setup, so my team had to start with 4 men. Even then sens, left handed models etc etc I turn to admin, can I change in console and he's like err no exit and go into the vgui, so after arguing if I press escape I can still only access the customisation part by clicking "play cs" quitting me from the game. On top of getting there at 9oclock and not sitting down at a comp until 2pm overall I thought the comp was pretty disorganised. And aye each PC was different making it hardly "fair". What made me laugh the most after reading that someone got disqualified for adjusting commands in console, when one clan was playing a player says, "admin can I change m_pitch (or yaw, whatever decreases vertical movement)" the admin says no and the player continues to lower console and start adjusting it and he didn't do anything. Oh and MR8, nice one!!! :/ I'd have rather play a CO match with 15 min timer than that. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

	iron 18:51 5/10/2002	i dont really know where to start this moan, cuz theres so much of it to be done. First of all the tournament area in earls court exhibition centre or whatever must be the loudest place in london atm. You couldnt even hear people you were speaking to right next to you, let alone whats happening thru ur headphones. When we got there we found at that 32 clans had apparantly signed up, so they had to shorten the rounds to MR8, which was pretty pathetic to say the least, awps were pretty much non-existant in this tourny, cuz you could only eco once before you fell too far behind on rounds. Organisation wise it seemed ok, games started pretty much on time. Then we get to the PCs, first of, windows xp..needs no explanation, i use sens 1.3 at home, i was using 3.5 there, and it was still slower :/, then you have the fact that you cant turn mouse acceleration off on some pcs..but u can on others, FPS was an amazing 60-99 depending on what PC u were on. None of the PCS had andy kind of mouse drivers on whatsoever, so that kinda got everybody into a sticky situation, i had to borrow some1 elses drivers in the end, so then theres the admins, they seemed pretty cool at first, but then suddenly ud heard ' OK 2 RESTARTS AND GO' while everybody was still setting up, in the first game my mouse movements wouldnt measure alot of the time, and i changed my name to 'Mag8 - mousefucled' and played like that, and then suddenly, on the 8th round, the admin rcon messages 'f*edmouse please change your name' so i open the console, and then suddenly the admin starts having ago at saying that i shouldnt access console, and he gives us a console warning...ive probably missed like, a tonne of s* out, when im less tired ill remember it all, the only decent part of the day for me was meeting quite a few ppl there, and finding ppl who talk alot of s*** ( AMeN ). well played to ui and erm, im sure ull do good tomorrow. Also the fact that a couple of clans who are playing on sunday who have no right to be playing at all on that day. 	VespR 19:13 5/10/2002	Wasn't no one else miffed that we had to pay £13 to get into the exhibition when most of us probably didn't even care for that seeing as we were there for the wcg? I wasn't told anything about that and having to fork out travel fair from leeds etc to get asked for more money when I didn't even give a flying f* about the damn exhibition. Next time hold it at a lan centre coz it was s*e today for all the above reasons. When we played twisted reality (inept) they said right you got 5 mins to sort stuff out then its on. I sit down and there's no keyboard so I go admin I need a keyboard, he disappears comes back bout 4 mins later with one that has a broken port so I say can I have another, then sujoy finally appears with a keyboard and says to the rest of my team ok you ready we're starting, am like err I just got a keyboard I still need to setup, so my team had to start with 4 men. Even then sens, left handed models etc etc I turn to admin, can I change in console and he's like err no exit and go into the vgui, so after arguing if I press escape I can still only access the customisation part by clicking "play cs" quitting me from the game. On top of getting there at 9oclock and not sitting down at a comp until 2pm overall I thought the comp was pretty disorganised. And aye each PC was different making it hardly "fair". What made me laugh the most after reading that someone got disqualified for adjusting commands in console, when one clan was playing a player says, "admin can I change m_pitch (or yaw, whatever decreases vertical movement)" the admin says no and the player continues to lower console and start adjusting it and he didn't do anything. Oh and MR8, nice one!!! :/ I'd have rather play a CO match with 15 min timer than that. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
