Frank Nuccio (the CPL) recently released a list of rule ammendments on their Tournament Forums. Here's an excerpt:4.00d Teams disbanding immediately forfeit past CPL and CAL standings which are used to assist in the seedings of teams prior to each tournament.The full list can be found, here.
- Pretty straight foward, if your team breaks up then all CPL and CAL records are thrown out the window. If your team was a CAL Invite team then your newly formed team must play one full season in the Intermediate or Main division (decided by CAL admins)
7.00h If a tournament server crashes before four rounds have been completed, the server must be restarted and the game's score is reset to 0-0. If the server crashes after the 4th round has completed, the game must be restarted and played with the same score. Furthermore, the maxrounds of the half is changed to equal the remaining rounds left at the point of the server crash.

pistol rounds can be pretty random at the best of times and i'd be pretty p***ed off if my clan was facing a top team and got a healthy lead only to lose it [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

Restarting after winning the pistol rounds could mean the diff between $20,000 and $0,000.
