Winter 2002 CS Registration Date and Summer 2003 Event Details

CPL Winter Event is not too far away now and registration for the $100,000 CS tornement will open on Tuesday September 10th. There is a limit of 64 teams and the winning team will take away $30,000. Deadline for electronic registration closes October 1st.

Some interesting news from the CPL site regarding the summer 2003 event:

The CPL also announced that the upcoming $100,000 Counter-Strike Championship will serve as the primary and overriding seeding event for the CPL's Counter-Strike Summer 2003 Tournament, which will offer the largest cash prize in the history of the sport: $200,000; and the largest top prize ever: $70,000. The scheduled dates for the Summer 2003 event are: July 30 - August 3, 2003 in Dallas, Texas.
