The nature of the UK community having such young players means that could be unlikely. There needs to be an increase in maturity to bring about an increase in professionalism. We are working on the skills front and with some support from other areas see ourselves up near the top in the future. I do agree that the scene is full of the younger age groups and this doesnt help the scene since most of the large competitions are abroad and sending smalll children all that way isnt healthy. I mean it's likely that there won't be many who will get through to the finals or whatever but it's pretty sad when they don't even bother signing up. Surely there are some clans in div 1 in some of the leagues who could have signed up, maybe even some div 2 ones as well. Just a pity CBUK was ruined by all the gimmick/joke/anonymous clans a few months ago, so UK clans now ignore CB to a large extent. Even now it's pretty empty, and impossible to get a game. We had 6 games lined up for last week; two there was just no response to the challenge, even in IRC, one was cancelled and the other three rescheduled to be in two months time. Pretty sad really. Lots of new clans popping up every week with 'big names' in them, they win a few matches then fade away. Blah. It's just a bit sad that places with half the UK population get twice as many signups... Perhaps clans are scared off by the need to be a 'pro clan' now, and if they don't have the time for that sort of stuff they think they might as well not bother...? It makes me laugh that clans put down their skill as 9 or 10 and ask for entry for the EuroCup. They must be ignorant or just plain dumb. Better to give the opencup a go and go out fighting than not enter at all... So ur suggesting clans who are clearly nowhere near the top uk clans skill level apply for something they dont stand a chance of getting accepted for, is just a waste of effort. We get more or equal to all the other nation groups.....6 from the whole of eastern europe(we get more than them), 8 from belgium/holland/luxemburg(we get more than them).....10 from spain/italy(get more than them)......then france and germany get the same with 16 between the 2 countries, and then scandinavia gets 16 between sweden, finland, denmark, norway(more than them). Also keep in mind that clanbase likes to have one team from each country.
