Mousesports win German World Cyber Games Qualifier

Mousesports will be representing Germany in Korea for this years World Cyber Games after defeating favourites mTw over two maps (aztec and train). mTw yesterday had won the upper bracket final and needed only to win one map today, however lead by an on form Roman R. Mousesports came out deserved winners. The final scores:

mTw vs mouz: train (9:13) aztec (4:13)

	PHB 19:14 1/9/2002	Actually their results are fairly consistant. 11th or something in CPL Cologne - not amazing play by them win Lan arena 7 - They had teamplay, nobody else did and it was LagArena so teamplay mattered most. Eurocup - They didn't have amazing teams to beat at the EC finals s*** at CPL summer yet again - They were as good as they were at the EC and at LA7 and now losing to a team most ppl expected them to comfortably win against - I expected mouz to win, I didn't think mTw would get the map they got againist them [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
	DArtagnan Infinity-eSports 20:21 1/9/2002	Nah, it's just the german CS community, which we're not used to in the UK. In germany there were 4 teams at the event who could all easilly beat each other, it just depends what happens on the day, mTw hammered mouz on nuke the day before. Just come the actual games for the final mouz won the first map, so come 2nd map they have the psycological advantage. It's the same in Sweden, esu, matrix, gol, sk.sca all have the ability to beat each other. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
	DaKid 20:31 1/9/2002	Unfortunately and fortunately I-eS have no real rivals at the moment in the UK. There are loads of top clans in the UK who on the right day can push I-eS bloody hard, but I really don't think we've got anyone else atm who could almost have taken SK.sca to a tie-break in the CPL Finals. Go I-eS ;) Saying that, I don't think we've got long to wait. Some old teams returned anew and some new teams just starting out all have lineups to promise some good competition for I-eS (and them l33t b******s in Scandinavia) in the very near future :) [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
