"Your executable is out of date"

What with the retail version of Counter-Strike floating around nowadays, and the release of so many patches, so quickly - a lot of (stupid?) people are confused.

If you've been recieving "Executable out of date" or authentication errors, then head on over to Counter-Strike.net where a lengthy update will attempt to explain all.
