Nico has updated Clanbase with a news post regarding some changes/additions to the CS ladder rules. Here's a little run down on the notable changes:He also mentions that there is now 'a small form with a checkbox for 'demos required', a list of Anti-Cheat Tools to choose from, and a MaxRounds/ChargesOnly field.' You'll find an explanation of the changes, as well as the full rules listing over on CB.
- All matches are played using the MaxRounds 12 scoring system by default.
ClanBase has 5on5 and 2on2 ladders. No other team-sizes are allowed in official matches. - New maplist: de_aztec, de_dust2, de_cbble, de_inferno, de_train, de_nuke, de_prodigy, de_dust
- If a server crashes more than 2 times during a match, either clan may demand a serverchange.
- If the server crashes before 5 rounds of a map has been played, the round will be replayed from the start. If it crashes after the 5th round has finished, the remaining rounds will be played with mp_startmoney set to 4000.
- Demos: If this option is checked [on the new matchrules form], all players must record demos from the whole match. In case of a conflict after the match, both clans may request up to 8 demos (3 in the case of 2on2 matches) from the other clan. Failure to comply with this request will lead to a forfeit loss.

hopefully this will encourage some of the top clans to rejoin and will restore the dignity the uk ladder used to have [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

Maybe if they for instance limited the number of clans you could be in at anyone time.
Is it also a rule that if you dont link your alises and it goes to conflict then you automatically lose? [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

or just put a condition in your challenge notes that you will not play joke/merc clans and decline citing the condition - it's pretty easy to spot them. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
