Whilst I was on holiday in Australia I came across the front page of a technology newspaper. It was regarding Microsoft's new "security program". Since returning to home soil I discovered an interesting article on PlanetCrap.comRemember when Microsoft announced Hailstorm - "All your personal information are belong to us"? Nobody was interested because it was too risky, and people did not trust Microsoft with their personal information, let alone the fact that Microsoft would actually have full control over it. Microsoft basically had to forget about implementing Hailstorm for a while. Then came .NET - "You know, we have to admit we don't have the slightest clue as to what .NET really is or should be. In fact, we have to re-think this one. I give my company a C for its .NET understanding and implementation. - Bill Gates and co.".On another note a while back when Windows XP was first released I found another interesting article, whether its true or not is yet to be seen.If you can remember these two Microsoft initiatives, combine them together, add a security smokescreen to it, and you have an important part of Palladium.
One OS to rule them all, One OS to find them, One OS to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.I believe that is something to do with a film/book. To read the article head over here.

1st one is out MS wants to implement palladium so that any file u play will have to conform to MS standards and checks.
Ie like some XP versions (home i think) where u have to tell MS ur upgrading ur PC b4 u do it.
Just some interesting stuff about MS and how they are trying to gobble us up.
Corporate domination like starbucks, kill off all competition then they can develope stuff and release it as they please
Hope that makes sence.... [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
