Top American clan, Domain of Pain, have started up their very own 1 vs. 1 Counter-Strike tournament and is now accepting registrations. There's a limit of 32 players and the registration fee is $20 USD per player, payable only through PayPal. The cash prizes will be distributed as follows (assuming 32 players sign up):1st - $250The tournament will start out as a round robin with groups of four, so everyone is guranteed at least three matches. After the round robin one person will advance from each group to enter into double elimination rounds for the remainder of the tournament. The tournament is scheduled to start at 12:00PM (noon) CST on Sunday, August 11 and finish on the same day. More information can be found here.

Also you seem to be making an argument againist online cheating as a whole, personally if I ran a league I would insist that every single team member opens up their PC to a FTP or whathave search before the game starts.
