Yet another 3D Roster change..

Posted by CyRus at 11:48 3/8/2002.

With the parting of da bears, smeez and br0nx from team 3D we knew there were going to be big changes. But now it seems 3D have dropped another member and this time in the form of Jaden.

3D.Bullseye on irc (#team3d):

[3D]-Bullseye: jaden isnt on the team anymore :
[3D]-Bullseye: our last member will be announced soon
So yet another big roster change for 3D and as Bullseye mentions there will be a new player announced, will all these changes give 3D the skill and teamplay to succeed at the next CPL?

With a lot of big american names clanless, where do they go? DoP? tso? GX? Only time will tell.

Jaden/de bears & br0nx were pretty good, shame 3D didnt take dallas as a one off result :/ if they didnt lose to fzero who got beaten pretty bad by other people, 3D couldve gone far, was typical they faced mTw in the lower. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

This is the kind of crap that makes people snigger when gamers go on about pro-gaming. Rather than looking at what the problem may have been, fixing it, practicing it a little harder and coming up with some better strats....clans come up with the radical, original idea that it'd be in their best interest to boot a few players and bring in some new names. Loop...

I don't really believe the poop about them 'not fitting in', since 3D were kicking ass when they first appeared on the scene and no-one muttered a word of discontent then, did they? [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

They was kicking ass at the start cause they only played lower skilled clans in my opinion. They went a winning streak of about 11 then played DoP a decent us clan and they lose? So what does that tell you [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

yeh they played s*** clans, when you saw them play decent ppl they went to s***, like when they were playing TAU they got really angry when they lost rounds and s***, and the american cs scene is abit pathetic, i dont think its typical of europe tbh, and it shows, because cs in america is least developed on the pro side..only a few clans have any sponsorship of any kind. Yep, DoP beat them...and vice versa, the first time they played according to the Cal-i webby:

3D 15 , Domain of Pain 9 - June 16, 2002

Domain of Pain 13, 3D 11 - June 27, 2002

The point doesn't change...they all got caught up in the hype and there was no mention of discontent then. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

acutally, you guys have it wrong. 3D > DoP 2 times before DoP > 3D. There were the forementioned 2 CAL-I matches.

"3D 15 , Domain of Pain 9 - June 16, 2002" &
"Domain of Pain 13, 3D 11 - June 27, 2002"

..but they also played them in RGL-E
[3D], 19 - DoP, 11 - 04/23/02

3D has never lost majorly, it has always been by 1 round.

(DoP > 3D 13-11 , F-zer0 > 3D 13-10 , mTw > 3D 13-10).

The skill was there, they jsut needed to practice together more. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
