Byebye Halflife.net ...

Halflife.net have announced that as of April 1st 2001, they will be closing down. Unfortunately this is not an advance April Fools joke.
It is with great regret, and sadness that I announce that Halflife.net will be closing down on April 1st, 2001. The reasons should be pretty obvious. For the past month, the majority of our banner ads at the top of our pages, have been blank. These blank banners, represent a huge drop in advertising revenues. Revenues that we use to pay for servers, bandiwth, staff, other bills, etc.
The future of this site, and other sites on our network is still uncertain. We are persuing several options, but there are not many opportunities left that generate the kind of revenue we require to keep things going.
