The CPL website has been bustling with activity of late. They've posted information about two new sponsors in the form of Silicon Integrated Systems Corporation and Micro Exchange Corp, as well as the fact that you can purchase spectator passes for the Summer Championship event "at the door". Here's the information:The CPL announced today that it will be offering one-day spectator passes at the event door for $5.00 per person. This is a great opportunity for people curious about the CPL events to experience first hand what the media buzz is all about. The CPL Pentium 4 Summer Event will take place in the 40,000-square-foot Marsalis Hall at the Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel, starting Saturday, July 20 through Wednesday, July 24, 2002.They've also posted up a thorough listing of TV Channels that are covering the event and at what times their coverage starts. Unfortunately, as one would expect, the channels are all American ones. Perhaps ones such as 'Fox' may be available to digital viewers over here, but otherwise it's pretty much no go. For more information on the Summer Championship check the official site.
Update: Within the space of a few more hours, a few more updates. Another sponsor has been announced in the form of Analog Devices Inc and it would appear that the New York Times is carrying a story on the Summer Championship (viewable online - free account required).
