Registration for the CPL Summer Event Closing

A rather ominous email from the CPL has just dropped into my mailbox. It reads as follows:

"The online registration for the CPL summer event will close tomorrow Saturday, July 6, 2002 at noon central. After that date the CPL will not accept new registrations.

Any teams that obtained an autoberth for the $100,000 CS Tournament must have a minimum of five members register before this date or the team will be deleted from the registration system and disqualified from competition at this event."

And on a CPL-related matter, CPL Europe have announced that in one week the next Qualifier for the Oslo 2002 tournament will take place in CS-Cup tourney located in Belgium/Charleroi with approximately 700 attendees. The winner of this Tourney will get 1 Autoberth for the CPL Europe Oslo 2002. More information can be found here.
