The UK Road To Dallas Begins

Starting yesterday the pre-qualifiers for the chance to win a £6000 paid trip to Dallas to compete at the CPL World Championships began. Clans throughout this weekend compete at their local VGA venues to gain a place at the UK CPL finals at the IT-Centre in Northampton on July 6th.

Expect this to be updated as more results come in, but presently I understand that erm yesterday won their pre-qualifier up against the likes of so19, fl.e in Northampton. Expect a full report to appear on this website soon. Literally as this is being written the Slough qualifiers have 'fragged-off' so to speak, with the first game taking place between [VETS] & 1N.

Those are the centres that are available for qualification on the VGA website, so where do you get the 9 teams thing?:P

15:39 1/7/2002		 well, it was prolly a while ago i heard something like that, and since then the number of centres used has gone down i think... but it's prolly because of the small number of clans that actually went to each venue, as 2 clans were meant to go through from cyberweb (maybe other centres), but it got chopped down to 1 because there was only 4 clans actually at the event
