PHL reports that Counter-Strike:Condition Zero will be shown at E3 this year - but in the nVidia Booth. We'll keep you updated.LOS ANGELES, CA - E3 EXPO - MAY 22, 2002 - NVIDIA(r) Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) today announced that Valve's Counter-Strike: Condition Zero will be exclusively shown in NVIDIA's suite, on its next generation graphics processors during this week's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Counter-Strike: Condition Zero expands the world's most played online action game by introducing new single-player campaigns, weapons, and characters. Counter-Strike players generate 3.4 billion player minutes per month, which represents 88% of the online action market. The vast majority of these players run Counter-Strike atop NVIDIA's graphics processors.
"NVIDIA and Valve share a common goal - to deliver fresh and compelling 3D content to the masses," said Dan Vivoli, vice president of marketing at NVIDIA. "Valve has created a worldwide sensation in Counter-Strike, and we look forward to working with them on future projects as we continue to define the standard for gaming GPUs."
