CSNation posted some news up yesterday regarding the latest on Valve's battle with cheats. Apparently, they've updated their anti-cheat software so that it should now detect the latest version of OGC. Here's the obligatory:"We've updated the security module used by "secure" Counter-Strike servers. Your server should update itself in the next while, so you don't need to do anything.You can check out this screenshot if you're interested in seeing what's displayed when someone tries to connect using a cheat...in client and server side. There's not much for you server admins to do here as your server should auto-update itself.This version of the security module detects versions of OGC and clients abusing the scr_ofs* cvars. Please keep an eye on your server and let Leon and me know if you have any problems.
