It seems Valve have activated their anti-cheat software, and Linux users are suffering as a result. Apparently, lots of people who are running Counter-Strike on Linux, via WineX (a windows compatability environment), are being kicked off servers by the anti-cheat software.Linux users amongst us need not worry though, Valve say that the problem was 'unexpected' but they are 'looking into it'.
