Do you think you are a bit of an Alfred Hitchglock 18? Or maybe a Kevlar Costner? Well now you have the chance to create the next Towering de_inferno...CPL Europe have launched a map specific Movie Contest. Anyone can enter their own original short CS or Q3 movie and there are some good prizes on offer to the winners. Head over to the CPL Europe Website for the requirements. Here's a little info that was sent over by RaveDome:
"The CPL Europe is proud to announce a map specific movie contest in which the particpants will have to create a movie based on a single map in which they explain the basics, strategic value and crucial points of the chosen map combined with action packed scenes and thrilling moments of both Counter-Strike and Q3 TDM pre-selected tournament maps.The CPL Europe pronounces, that the movies should outline the sportive aspects of the gameplay, as this is what these games are played for on the event. The 3 winners of the contest will receive attractive hardware prizes and free VIP passes for the upcoming CPL Europe Cologne 2002 event.
Anyone who wants to participate should please send an email to the CPL Europe Tournament Director Manuel 'Pesticide' Hoedemakers (manuel@cpleurope.com), containing infos about the maps he will use for his movie. The pre-selected tournament maps are De_Aztec, De_Cbble, De_Dust2, De_Inferno, De_Nuke, De_Prodigy, De_Train."
