EuroCup V - Mass exodus from Group D

It seems as if clan troubles are in vogue and yesterday saw 3 clans drop out of EuroCup V - all in Group D.

We of course know of NiP's problems:

"NiP are sad to announce that we have to leave the EC5 Cup (www.clanbase.com) This is due to the fact that Medion is still inactive. I have spoken to Clanbase and we have tried to find a solution but time is against us. We would like to thank Clanbase for their great job."

While, Massive Attack (One of the best Norwegian Counter-Strike clans) was forced to leave earlier this week and has since merged with swedish clan, Scandinavia.

But Magic have also been having trouble with their team lately, and apparently now they will be leaving the cup as well:

"We currently have only 3 players in our team and have no other choice but to leave Eurocup. We would have liked to continue, but it's not possible to gather a new team that fast." - Jak

Since all these clans as well as Oath (who also left the Eurocup a while ago) are in Group D, Clanbase decided to make an exception to the rules and give them a shot at staying in the cup if they were able to. But only Massive Attack was able to do so; they played their last group match against Coercere last night and were unfortunately beaten 33 - 15.
