Today I received the following statement from Primary Strike 2002 winners Does Not Compute:Does Not compute are on Friday the 8th March becoming a multi-gaming clan. With the arrival of a marketing manager on-board it is our vision to broaden our horizons in several games. As gaming events world wide are not just orientated on Counter-Stike, we feel it is neccessary to secure a long term plan with sponsorship.Looks like exciting times lay ahead for the Irish clan, I hope it all works out well for them and they make it to the CPL World championship finals.We are proud to announce our new Starcraft, Brood Wars, Quake 3 team death match and Quake 3 capture the flag sections. We look forward to competing sucessfully in europe in all games.
Members of the GunZoid Quake 3 section who are now .dNC had this to say:
"Gzd are a collection of experienced and natural talented players, we are fairly new and in recent times have began to prove ourselves in BWDML and CB as well as winning Savlan and reaching the finals of the MR Cup which aim was to find the UK best tdm clan. We now wish to become strong contenders in Europe and the Lanning scene."Leader of the starcraft/Brood wars section TheBlue had this to say:
"We are experienced players from Starcraft/Brood War and we have played in tournaments and leading in the gamei, gamebugs, and wgtour ladders but now we are targeting to be #1 in LAN events in Europe and possibly the World Cyber Games in Korea. We are looking foward to making this happen now with clan Does Not Compute."Clan Does Not compute was established in January 2001. Since then it has grown from a small community of fun gamers to playing games at a high level of dicipline. We have attended CPLs and have won LAN events including two CPL qualifiers and LANARENA which all the top UK teams competed in. We look forward to continued success in a structure that has been adopted by the top sponsored German clans.
On a further note clan .dNC will be attending the CPL Summer World Championships and RTE (the Irish National Television network) will be accompinging them and doing a documentary.

2. n! are good team and I'll think you'll see that dnc cs have said they were amazing on-line and are mainly a lan team. I may stand corrected.

We did not chose for the victory at lan arena to be posted on every site, its called "news" and UK-T and XS-R keep the communities of q3, cs and other games upto date on what is happening in their respective games.
We got beaten by n! who are one of the top german teams, who recently won a major german lan beating SK and DkH, so losing to them wasnt that much of a surprise.Also most of the teams from last seasons opencup are in the eurocup this time round.

And as far as winning LAN arena being news, and sites obviously pick it up.... verifyer himself put it on clanbase, and telgere(ex-dnc and close freind) submited it to xsreality.
Thats the only 2 places I saw it other than here.
As far as winning 2 cpl games from 2 events and winning the *laugh* Irish qualifiers...in the words of a great singer 'That dont impress me much'.
Also in the Open Cup n! werent the same team involved in the Eurocup, the old n! that disbanded during the open cup was forced to play becuase they couldnt change so many members.
The n! you played was a team just thrown together from past members in the space of a day, and they went on to lose vs shuuk who arent even a top 10 German clan.
Dont get me wrong, dNC are probobly the best clan in the UK, and are in top 50 Europe, which is good considering there is thousands of clan....but I dont agree with people acting as if they are world beaters when they havent proven it.
I havent ever met them, or played them, but I do keep a wide view of all clan scenes and this is the impression I have got. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

Secondly, I'd think we ARE a 'big' clan as we've now got shítloads of members, dont u think? Unless big in your eyes means good.
Thirdly, Tel was ex =[DnC]= , a café clan, everyone who went into the café who played CS was =[DnC]= , NOT .dNC. But yes he is a close friend and asked us for a xsr i-view.
Fourthly, Nobody's arrogant, we just want to be able to travel around different countries free of charge, dont you?
Fifthly, You must be a retard if you couldn't of found all that out for yourself.

as for the anonymous posters, Messiah couldn't have summed it up better.
While the good clans are out there winning, earning from sponsors and getting to go around the world. They will be playing online with their isdn for 5 hours a night getting nowhere. From which they will go onto posting lamer comments because they're so p***ing jealous of clans they can't get near.

2 dNC teams also attended the CPL qual, 1 which came 10th the other getting knocked out in the group stages. So we did ok for our first outting.
