Over on the Steam support forums, Erik Johnson (Valve) has updated with some news of the '3/4 release'. Here are the CS changes:

Counter-Strike:

• Hostage navigation improvement.
• Training mission works in Steam version of Counter-Strike.
• Show bomb icon if tracking bomb carrier in first person spec mode
• Show bomb defusing/arming progress bar in first person spec mode
• Corpses stay even if they leave player's PVS in Counter-Strike.
• Fixed deaths from falling and other generic damage types sometimes showing up as headshot kills.
• Fixed damage sounds when a player wearing Kevlar is hit in a location not covered by Kevlar.
