CPL Commissioner Frank Nuccio recently made announcements on their tournament forum regarding a couple of rule changes The CPL have made to their upcoming summer Counter-Strike tournament:Firstly 'playerid 0' will be used now instead of 'playerid 1', meaning players can see a targets name when they put their crosshair on the body.
The second rule change is that players may be subbed in at half-time of a game. The conditions being that subs have to use the same mouse, keyboard, and headphones as the player they're coming in.
Frank also gave out the following warning to potential Counter-Strike cheaters regarding the BYOC area at CPL events:
"An attendee caught using or distributing a cheating aid should be reported immediately to a CPL official. The CPL will then permenantly revoke his or her badge and request that the on-patrol police escort the attendee out of the event."That'll teach them.

subbing players at halftime is a nice idea too but having to use the same equipment is a bit of a bummer. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
