Sling Blade (DoG) has uploaded a new interview with Frank Nuccio, of CPL/CAL fame. It's a very good interview, obviously they mainly talk about the CPL and where it's headed but they also manage to fit in bits about CS and gaming as a sport:"Sling_Blade: Since pro gaming has been around all the wannabe pro gamers have always been wondering when (or if) the “big boom” will happen. What do you think will be necessary to propel pro gaming into the media spotlight?Frank: The CPL has the best infrastructure of any current league and all the right pieces are falling into place and have been for awhile now. Some really exciting things are taking place behind the scenes that we will be announcing in the months to come.
I think the CPL's biggest advantage is that it has someone like Angel at the helm. After working with him for years and having meetings twice a week I can honestly say that his vision, passion and dream of establishing a new worldwide sport, will no doubt become a reality. If he can't do it no one can."
Frank also mentions their plans for exapnsion in Europe, it's nice to hear that the CPL has big plans not only in the US, but in Europe as well. You should definitely give it a read.
