Playing Fields - What Went Wrong

Edward Watson, of TPF fame, has sent over an email to let us know that he's posted his final column over on The Playing Fields, it focuses on what went wrong:

"TPF cost us both a great deal of money and a lot of our lives. However TPF was a labour of love for both of us and its premature death has been very traumatic. All the more so because of the kind and positive comments and commiserations we have received. But most of all because it was a living organism that was nurtured passionately for a number of years by its staff and its hard core members. I am only sad that we were unable to raise the finance to recover from last year, take TPF to its next more profitable phase and above all reward the staff for their Herculean efforts."
