A press release from the people making Counter-strike: The Movie, has appeared in my inbox. This is being made by French fans and is backed by FunTV and Cine-Courts.They have been shooting in a "commercial center" on the 13, 14, 20 and 21 January, and will continue on 10 and 11 February.

Why a movie ?Cs the movie is a synthesis of the many games we played during one year. During this time it appeared that the action in a realistic game like Counter strike was really different from action in a movie. The movie story is based on those differences
What kind of movie ?
Well, like you probably already guessed, it will be an action based short movie (approx. 6min), but we hope that players will be able to recognize scenes from their " one day perfect action ".
What is the scenario ?
Well. it starts with a bomb, and then ...
This looks like a very interesting idea, and I look forward to seeing the finished version.
