Sublyme, over on CSN, has written up a new article entitled 'Anti-Cheaters: Underground'. The article talks about the work of people who go 'undercover' and join cheating clans, for the sole purpose of finding out more about the current cheats and how they're coded. Once any information has been gained, this is passed on to the relevant people to help them with their anti-cheat programs:"Team E hasn't been the only group active in fighting cheaters, given the formation of the new group myg0at. Myg0at, named to parody the cheating clan "myg0t," has one mission statement -- 'taking the fun out of the hacker's game.' Although espionage isn't their method, the goal of myg0at is to use services such as Game Tiger to join servers with cheaters playing in it like myg0t and do everything possible to ruin their game."Head on over and take a look.
