Cliffe from Counter-Strike.net, is back from the CPL CS Tournament in Dallas and has updated with a short piece about the event as well as pictures (which include Barney, Frank Nuccio, cliffe, Adrian of FLF/Valve, Mikezilla):

He also mentions a quick update on the cheating issues with the HL engine and associated mods:

"This is something we get a bunch of e-mail about and are very aware of the program. The news is that Valve is currently working on a new cheating solution that should prove more effective than current delayed fix in next patch system. Word from Doug Lombardi at Valve is that they will release some information on this in the coming week or two and that they are shooting for a rollout of this solution around the holidays. As always with any software, this is tentative. Thanks for your patience and understanding."
