"Team Nocturne, the UK’s leading Internet-based Counter Strike gaming team are pleased to announce that Kenny aka Slayer will be joining Team Nocturne with immediate effect. We would like to welcome Kenny to the team and we are certain that he will add to the team’s success over the coming months.

After all of the noise, in the last few days, about Nocturne being finished, nothing could be farther from the truth. The team have a target of £105,000 PA of investment and sponsorship and already have agreements in principal with two sponsors that meet over a third of this. The team is also in discussions with a PC manufacture, a well know airline and the manufacturer of a fissionable drink. Online Music, video and mobile phone retailers have also requested more information about sponsoring the team and the unique strategy that will be behind the teams marketing. Hopefully official announcement of some of these deals will be made in January 2002.

Team Nocture have already been inundated by a number of hopefuls, all wanting to try out for the team. It would take a month of trials to work through them all. Sam (aka Rigs), the team captain will be handling all candidates and be organising trials to see who meets the mark required."
