Well it's taken a while but the CPL AMD UK Qualifiers are finally underway. Dogged by some technical problems at the beginning, things are begninning to take shape with games 3 & 4 happening as I write this.

The first game to kickoff was noc vs. CSC7 but both team's efforts were hampered by technical issues. CSC7 won the first half of de_aztec 8-4 and noc were leading the 2nd half 5-1 but eventually the game had to be aborted as it was taking too long. As a result, both teams gained a 'Default Win' and 3 points each.

The 4k vs. LCA game could certainly be described as tense with LCA taking a first half lead on de_prodigy of 8-4 and then went on to take a 3-1 lead in the 2nd half and needed only 1 more round to secure victory. 4k however fought back bravely and took the remaning 9 rounds. Final score - 13-11 to 4k.

For anyone 'not-in-the-know' CPL games are played with rules: Maxrounds 12.
